A few things to know
Terms & Conditions
Clear expectations for creating something personal.
Effective Date: November 1, 2026
Welcome to Sol Y Luna Coastal. These Terms & Conditions govern use of solylunacoastal.com and purchases or commissions arranged through our business.
By using this website, you agree to comply with the terms applicable to your use. Additional order-specific terms may be provided before you authorize a commission or purchase.
1. Our Products & Services
Sol Y Luna Coastal offers personalized coastal stationery, watercolor-inspired illustrations, paper goods, textile designs, gifts, and related creative services.
Unless expressly identified otherwise, our products are custom-designed or made to order.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue offerings and to decline proposed projects that fall outside our capabilities, provided we honor obligations already accepted.
2. Quotes, Orders & Payment
Submitting an inquiry does not create a binding purchase agreement or guarantee acceptance of a commission.
Prices, customization scope, revision allowances, production methods, applicable taxes, shipping charges, and payment terms will be communicated before an order is accepted.
An order is accepted when we expressly confirm acceptance and the agreed payment conditions have been satisfied.
Any required deposits or design fees, including their refundability, will be identified before payment.
3. Customer-Provided Photographs & Content
By providing photographs, names, illustrations, text, logos, or other materials, you represent that you own the materials or have the necessary permission to authorize their use for your requested project.
You grant Sol Y Luna Coastal and its necessary service providers a limited, nonexclusive permission to use, adapt, and reproduce submitted materials solely as needed to evaluate, design, produce, and fulfill your commission.
You agree not to submit materials that unlawfully infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
4. Custom Artwork & Proof Approval
Custom artwork is an artistic interpretation of supplied photographs and instructions, rather than a guaranteed photographic reproduction.
Where a digital proof is included, you are responsible for reviewing names, spelling, dates, artwork placement, and other requested details.
Written approval authorizes production of the approved version. Changes requested afterward may require additional fees or may not be possible once production has commenced.
5. Intellectual Property
The Sol Y Luna Coastal name, original website text, branding, original creative materials, and protectable designs are owned by Sol Y Luna Coastal or their respective rights holders.
Purchasing a finished product does not, by itself, transfer copyright or unrestricted reproduction rights in the underlying artwork.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, custom designs are licensed for the customer’s personal use and for use of the finished products as intended.
Commercial reproduction, resale of standalone artwork files, or use in additional merchandise requires separate written authorization.
Any rights you already hold in photographs or materials you submit remain yours. The terms of any separately agreed commercial commission will control over this general provision where applicable.
6. Customer Privacy & Portfolio Use
Customer-provided photographs and personal details will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
We will seek permission before featuring identifiable customer-submitted photographs or individualized commissioned designs in public portfolios, promotional materials, or social media, except where the customer has separately authorized such use.
7. Production, Shipping & Returns
Production and delivery arrangements are subject to our Shipping & Returns Policy and any terms specifically confirmed for an order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits nonwaivable consumer rights or remedies.
8. Website Content
Website content is provided for general information and inspiration. Product examples, illustrations, and styled photographs may depict conceptual arrangements rather than fixed product bundles.
We endeavor to present accurate descriptions but cannot guarantee that all website information will be error-free or continuously available.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sol Y Luna Coastal will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the website or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable consumer protection obligations.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
Changes will not retroactively alter a previously accepted order agreement without the parties’ consent, except as required by law.
11. Contact
If you have questions about these terms or a proposed commission, please contact us before placing an order.
