Our story by the water
A little life afloat.
A whole lot of inspiration.
Some people find inspiration in the mountains. Others in a bustling city. Mine has always had a little salt in the air.

Hello from the harbor
I’ve always felt at home by the water.
My love affair with coastal living began long before Sol Y Luna came into my life. Growing up, my summers were spent at our family’s summer home on Ocean Point, a beautiful peninsula in the Boothbay Harbor region of Maine.
Those summers were filled with salt air, changing tides, boats coming and going, and the wonderful feeling that life moves at its own pace when you’re near the ocean.
I worked on excursion boats and eventually had a Boston Whaler of my own, often accompanied by my Golden Retriever Molly, who made a wonderful first mate. Being on or near the water has always been a source of inspiration for me—and a place where creativity seems to float a little more freely.
From Maine to California
Different coasts.
The same wonderful feeling.
From the rocky shores of Maine to the palm-lined harbor of Santa Barbara, the scenery may have changed, but my connection to life by the water never has.
There’s something about being near the ocean that invites curiosity, creativity, and a little adventure. It’s where I feel most inspired—and where imagination seems to move as freely as the tide.
And then came Sol Y Luna
Not just a boat.
A little floating home.
Today, my floating home is Sol Y Luna, a Meridian 341 in Santa Barbara Harbor.
She’s much more than a boat to me. She’s a home, a creative retreat, and the place that inspired this little studio.
Whether it’s morning coffee at the marina, a golden evening aboard, or discovering a clever detail that makes life by the water feel even more inviting, Sol Y Luna has become both my sanctuary and my muse.
The heart of our little studio
Making the personal beautiful.
I believe the most meaningful gifts are the ones that capture a place, a personality, or a memory that matters.
A little personal
The boats, cottages, harbors, and beloved companions that make a story uniquely yours.
A little artistry
Watercolor-inspired artwork, thoughtful presentation, and details that feel polished yet warm.
A little whimsy
A soft sense of playfulness that makes each piece feel charming, welcoming, and memorable.
Thoughtfully made
For the places—and personalities—we love.
Sol Y Luna Coastal is a small creative studio devoted to personalized watercolor stationery, keepsakes, gifts, and entertaining pieces inspired by life afloat and ashore.
From a berth announcement to a harbor map, from a coastal home portrait to a favorite dog aboard, every piece begins with a meaningful story.
A final note from the harbor
Here’s to the places that feel like home.
Whether that place is a boat in the marina, a cottage by the sea, or simply wherever your happiest memories live, I hope you’ll find something here that feels personal, beautiful, and a little full of character.
With warmth and coastal inspiration,
